On the weekend of July 6 & 7, Metazone teamed up with the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club to co-organize the RSYC Optimist Gold Fleet Knockout Championship 2024. This event brought together more experienced sailors. They earned their place in the Gold Fleet by excelling in previous races.

These seasoned young sailors brought intense competition to the water. They demonstrated advanced techniques and showed remarkable resilience. Over the weekend, thrilling races took place, and participants displayed their mastery of sailboat racing. Their quick decision-making in tough conditions was impressive.

Just like in the Silver Fleet event, our Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer group was on hand. They helped rig Optimist boats and transported participants to the race areas. Their hard work was key to keeping the event running smoothly.
