BBBS SB20 Training (POSTPONED)

Hi seniors, we are going to practice on Sticky Beak as part of our transition to the SB20 platform and building up a pool of competent SB20 crew and skippers for 2019’s BBBS programme. Limiting slots per session as we are only launching 1 SB20 for now.

Training Objectives (Skipper)
To practice leading a crew and maneuvering the boat safely in different points of sail.
To practice launching and berthing at the pontoon.

Training Objectives (Crew)
To be familiar with boat maneuvers and to know what to do when the maneuver is being made
To assist skipper, when necessary, with launching and berthing at the pontoon

Schedule

Date: 9 Dec Sunday  15 December
Meet at 9.30 am for briefing and to collect sails.
Launch at 10.00am Practice (Team swap halfway through)
Final Berth at 1.00pm
(subject to changes)

Bring your own lifejacket. If you do not have one, we have a few that we can lend out. Just inform the organizer at least 1 week in advance. Wear covered shoes and bring sufficient water for the activity.
